2011

Company Founded: Jiangsu Purestar Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. was officially registered and established.

2015

Technology Upgrade: Successfully secured the Hygiene Approval Certificate for Drinking Water Safety Products and the Production License for Food Additives.

2016

Technology Certification: Successfully listed on the NEEQ (National Equities Exchange and Quotations) with stock code 836440, becoming the first coconut shell activated carbon manufacturing and R&D enterprise on the NEEQ. Certified for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 quality, environmental, and occupational health management systems.

2017

Qualification Enhancement: Established Ningxia Purestar Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. Set up Purestar Indonesia on Batam Island, Indonesia. Became a high-tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province. Obtained NSF Certification (National Sanitation Foundation). Obtained Halal Certification, expanding into food and beverage markets.

2018

Business Expansion: Established Shaanxi Purestar Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., focusing on new energy anode materials.

2019

Qualification Improvement: Obtained ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification, further refining the management system. Participated in the formulation of 8 team standards, industry standards, and national standards related to activated carbon.

2020

Technology Innovation: Transferred to the NEEQ Innovation Layer.

2021

Technology Breakthrough: Recognized as a Jiangsu Province SRUI Enterprise. Participated in the “Directional Preparation of Functional Activated Carbon from Forestry Residues” project for the Jiangsu Science and Technology Award, and partnered with Shanghai University of Engineering Science on sodium-ion hard carbon technology development.

2024

Capacity Expansion: Silicon-carbon precursor products entered the supply chains of industry-leading enterprises including CATL, BYD, and BTR. Successfully hosted the 1st CVD Silicon-Based Anode Material Technology Seminar in Quzhou. Indonesia's second factory is scheduled for completion in Q4, with an annual production capacity exceeding 10,000 tons.

2025

Sustainable Development: Successfully hosted the 2nd CVD Silicon-Based Anode Material Technology Seminar in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu.

Jiangsu Purestar — Headquarters, R&D & Quality Control

Headquartered at No. 28 Gangao Road, Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Jiangsu Purestar is our technical core since 2011. It integrates marketing, R&D, quality testing, and custom processing — housing steam activation lines, impregnation workshops, spherical carbon forming equipment, and an in-house laboratory where every batch is verified before release. It also serves as our production base for negative electrode materials. Certifications include NSF/ANSI/CAN 61, food-grade processing, and REACH compliance.

Ningxia Purestar — Impregnation & Protective Carbon Specialist

Based in Taisha Industrial Park, Pingluo County, Shizuishan, Ningxia, this certified high-tech enterprise focuses on activated carbon impregnation and modification production. We specialize in alkali, copper, molybdenum, silver, and potassium impregnation and modification for respirators, chemical filtration, and industrial gas treatment. Annual modification and processing capacity: 3,000 tons. We do not produce raw carbon; we specialize in value-added impregnation and modification.

Shaanxi Purestar — Largest Manufacturing & New Energy Materials

Located in Qingshui Industrial Park, Yushen Industrial Zone, Yulin, Shaanxi Province, our largest manufacturing site operates two SLEP furnaces and two rotary kilns, producing 20,000 tons/year of coal-based columnar activated coke and coconut shell columnar carbon. The base also manufactures porous carbon, supercapacitor carbon, coconut shell A0–A2 (150 tons/month), and gold recovery carbon. It is dedicated to next-generation energy materials, including silicon-carbon precursors and hard carbon. Custom production is available.

Philippines Purestar — Overseas Coconut Shell & High-Iodine Carbon

Located in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, our Philippines facility secures the coconut shell supply chain at its source, with an annual capacity of 6,000+ tons scaling toward 10,000+. It specializes in high-iodine gold recovery carbon for mining applications. This base ensures consistent raw material quality and cost stability for our global customers.
